Adebayo Nasirudeen Azeez
Adebayo Nasirudeen Azeez is a distinguished professional in the banking and finance sector, with a career spanning over a decade of remarkable accomplishments. His academic journey is robust, starting with a National Diploma in Banking and Finance from Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, and culminating in a Higher National Diploma (HND) in the same field from Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa, Nasarawa State. To further strengthen his expertise, he earned a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Accounting and Finance and is currently pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) in Accounting at Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
He is a graduate member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) and holds student memberships in the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). In addition, Mr. Adebayo is a certified Microfinance Certified Professional (MCP), awarded by the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), which highlights his extensive expertise in internal control, internal audit, compliance, and agricultural financing.
Throughout his career, Adebayo has demonstrated exemplary skills in microfinance and agricultural finance, Oil and Gass, Corporative society holding key roles in reputable organizations. His professional journey includes serving as the Head of Internal Audit and Recovery at Sanga Microfinance Bank (2013-2014) and subsequently as the Head of Internal Audit and Compliance at Viscount Microfinance Bank Limited (2014-2017). He also made significant contributions to agricultural finance as a Field and Account Officer at Corporate Project and Resources Limited/NIRSAL (2018-2021) and as a Field and LMR Desk Officer at NIRSAL Plc (2021-2024). His experience further extends to contributions in Asok Oil and Gas, Touch Consult, and general merchant sectors.
Since the fourth quarter of 2024, Adebayo has been a valuable asset to Aztec Microfinance Bank. He has effectively leveraged his extensive knowledge to streamline compliance processes and ensure timely, accurate reporting to regulatory authorities, significantly enhancing the bank’s operational efficiency.
